Brands asking "who makes AI commercials in Europe?" get a different answer from every search engine and every AI assistant. The field is young, most studios are under three years old, and there is no trade body ranking them. This list is our reading of it in October 2026: eight studios that have put AI-generated advertising on air or online for named brands, from Berlin to Lisbon.

Best for: premium hybrid production, where AI sits next to live action, animation and heavy post-production.
Private Island is a production company first, with a dedicated AI unit. Named clients on its site include McDonald's, Original Source, Meta Quest and TGL. Pick it when the campaign needs AI shots cut into a conventional shoot without the join showing. privateisland.tv
4. THINGS, Paris, France
Best for: full creative campaigns, strategy and art direction included.
THINGS is an AI-first advertising agency rather than a production house: brand platforms, activations, films, stills and social content from concept through delivery. Its Uber film "Life is about the ride" won Best AI Advertising Film at the World AI Film Festival in 2026. things.paris
5. DreamZero, United Kingdom
Best for: broadcast commercials, fully generative or hybrid.
DreamZero made what it describes as the UK's first AI TV commercial in February 2024 and has since worked for Coca-Cola, Adidas, Unilever and Apple TV+. It also offers AI localisation of existing spots, useful for brands that need one film in many markets. dreamzero.ai
6. WHAT IF Studio, Berlin, Germany
Best for: director-led storytelling.
WHAT IF Studio runs a roster of directors who work with AI tools, and its reel shows projects for Sony, Citroën and Vodafone. Choose it when the brief is a narrative film and the director's voice matters more than the tool. whatif.studio
7. Trippy Pictures, Vienna and Berlin
Best for: scalable campaign production with brand-consistent workflows.

8. Wonder Studios, London, United Kingdom
Best for: film-grade original and branded content at scale.
Wonder Studios combines AI with classic filmmaking and runs a platform that connects filmmakers with projects. It is the best-funded European studio in this space and takes on campaigns, music videos and original films. wonderstudios.com
How to choose between them
- Watch for delivered work, not demos. Ask for the brand, the market, the year and where the film ran.
- Ask who owns the output and which models were used. The answer should come with a written record for your legal team.
- Check how products and characters stay consistent across shots. This is where most AI advertising fails.
- Match the studio to the brief: a viral film, a hybrid shoot, a full campaign or a broadcast spot are different jobs.
